3 Great Reasons To Look Into Skydiving Lessons

They are taught about the main parachute and how to release the secondary chute if the main chute does not open.

3- Freefalling - One of the biggest thrills being sought by people in the activity of skydiving is the freefall. The freefall allows people to actually enjoy the thrill and falling through an endless sky. The freefall gives people the opportunity to scream "I can fly!" A special skydiving lesson is usually given to those who are interested in freefalling. They are taught how to shift their bodies in such ways as to increase or reduce air resistance. They are taught about how to reduce the speed at which they fall. They are taught about the different safety considerations when freefalling. They are also taught about how to tell if it's the right time to release your chute: too late, and you end up crashing to the ground; too soon and your chute gets ripped and you also end up crashing to the ground.Taking lessons will insure your safety and calm your nerves making for the most enjoyable jump possible.

Skydiving Scams Help!?
I'm located near Nashville, TN and interested in skydiving for the first time, but am just a little confused since I just found out about the scams of 1-800-Skyride listed on this page

Although on this website, they claim there is only 3 actual dropzones in TN

....well others on yahoo answers have suggested going to websites such as www.dropzone.com and www.uspa.org for "true" info on actual dropzones in your area. After a little research, I noticed that these websites have different skydiving centers totalling up to 5 in TN. So who's telling the truth? Also, uspa.org shows that there is a location in Clarksville, TN.....(for me would be closest) but when you click on their website it goes to this page.
