Top 10 Moments From the TV Series 24
What is it about 24 that made for such good entertainment? Maybe it was the superior acting of the cast or the plot twists and breathtaking suspense? It is really hard to pinpoint down, where 24 really gets it's audience, but below are some of the key moments where you knew the show was great!
24 is not your average show, by any means, so how can we pick out the top 10 ten list from so many great moments. Well, someone has to do the dirty work, just like the man himself and star of the hour(s): Jack Bauer.
10.Chloe turns into an action hero:
Well it was something of a surprise to see goofy computer nerd Chloe pick up a fully automatic machine gun and go banzai on an assailant, don't you think?
9.The President is a bad guy:
Pretty good acting by Gregory Itzin, a brilliant performance in his role. But didn't he look a little too much like Richard Nixon to be trusted?
8. The CTU bombing:
Fantastic explosive moments seen in this episode which completely blew the set apart.
7. Edgar's death:
The death of Edgar was a bit surprising, just when we had got used to his not so hero like appearance, then he chooses to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
6. Jack's wife gets killed by Nina:
Who saw that one coming? Granted she was somewhat annoying in her role, but still shocking!
5. Jack kills Chapelle:
Jack kills the boss he hates to fulfil the demands of bad guy Stephen Saunders.
4. Victor Drazen's last moments:
Dennis Hopper was really amazing as eastern European bad guy Victor Drazen. He fails to fool Jack Bauer resulting in a backfire of epic proportions as Jack takes out Drazen's minions before finally taking Drazen out.
3. Mandy bombs an aeroplane:
This was a truly amazing scene. Hot babe Mandy steals a journalist's ID while becoming a member of the mile high club. She then planted a bomb before skydiving out of a window! Top stuff!
2. Jack goes brutal:
It must have been one of the most brutal scenes ever seen on television. Jack first shoots a criminal in cold blood and then proceeds to take off his head with a saw, only to present it as a gift to a terrorist organisation so that he can get inside their group. Not sure how that would have played out in real life but it made for some great television entertainment.
1. Nina is a mole:
Nina, sweet Nina a mole? Well a great surprise or not really. It made for a great TV moment in 24.
Those were some of the most memorable moments in the TV series 24. In fact there are many more moments which would have been included on some people's top ten moments such as when Jack cut off Chases's hand with an axe to stop the bomb or the moment when Jack managed to bite a terrorist's neck off while hand cuffed to a chair! The same goes for business card printing 24 hr there would have to be a completely different list on which people would choose to have their most memorable moments!
